Jag provides mediation for high conflict separations. Jag has practiced family law exclusively since being called to the bar in 1998 and brings a wealth of family law knowledge having appeared at all levels of court, including the Supreme Court of Canada. Jag regularly acts on a variety of family law files including matters of divorce, equalization of net family property, spousal and child support claims, parenting plans and decision-making responsibility (previously custody and access) arrangements. His practice also includes the preparation and negotiation of separation agreements marriage contracts, and cohabitation agreements.
Jag engages his interest and understanding of human emotions when conducting mediations and uses patient dialogue to unravel the complexities surrounding the issues in contention. He brings a deep knowledge of family law, layered with economic and just considerations to his mediation practice, which assists the parties in coming to a fair and reasonable resolution of their family law issues.
