Alissa N. Winicki is the Department Lead for Estate and Capacity Law Litigation with Hummingbird Lawyers.
Alissa has represented clients within a multitude of legal areas, including succession planning, estate administration and litigation, family law, and civil litigation. Her practice has naturally streamlined to estate litigation and capacity law.
Alissaโs passion for helping others manifests through her ardent advocacy โ she is sympathetic, meticulous, and relentless in the way her clients want and need.
Alissaโs practice centres on will challenges, passing of accounts, claims for dependent support, and power of attorney and guardianship disputes.
Outside of the office and courtroom, Alissa recently ended her tenure as Vice-Chair on Covenant House Torontoโs NextGen Council. Last year, Alissa trained and competed in the 10th annual Fight to End Cancer, a boxing charity event. Alissa enjoys an active life that encompasses ultimate frisbee, motorcycle trips, cooking, crafting, and occasionally brewing beer.
