Elnaz is an Associate in the Real Estate and Corporate group at Hummingbird Lawyers LLP. She was called to the Bar of Ontario in 2024 and joined the firm the same year.
Elnaz earned her Juris Doctor from the Lincoln Alexander School of Law, where she was part of the inaugural graduating class. Prior to law school, she completed a Bachelor of Arts at York University with a double major in Law & Society and Sociology.
Before becoming a lawyer, Elnaz spent over five years working as a Real Estate Law Clerk, gaining invaluable hands-on experience that continues to shape her practical and detail-oriented approach. During law school, she further developed her interest in Real Estate and Corporate Law through placements and experiential learning, including work at a boutique firm where she focused on real estate transactions, supporting clients through residential closings and other property matters.
At Hummingbird, Elnaz’s practice covers all aspects of Residential Real Estate, including purchases, sales, pre-construction and assignment transactions, title transfers, and both institutional and private financing. She also assists clients with buying or selling business assets and handling incorporations. Her approach is focused on delivering efficient, solution-driven legal support while making complex processes clear and manageable for her clients.
Outside of the office, Elnaz enjoys staying active through HIIT and Pilates workouts, and spending quality time with her family and friends.
