Diana Simonetti is an Associate Lawyer with Hummingbird Lawyers LLP’s Litigation Department.
Diana was called to the Bar of Ontario in 2022. She received her Bachelor of Laws from the University of Leeds. Diana was awarded the National Committee Accreditation Certificate issued by the Federation of Law Societies of Canada. She graduated from a Master’s Course program in Administrative Law at Osgoode Professional Development.
While studying at the University of Leeds, she volunteered as a Student Ambassador teaching children about the Canadian legal culture. She was also a Keynote Speaker discussing the most recent Domestic Violence legislation and local housing initiatives in Leeds in 2019.
Following graduation, she worked as a summer student in a personal injury firm in Toronto. Diana then went on to work at a boutique law firm in North York and began her practice in Civil and Commercial litigation, Wills & Estates, Small Claims, and Administrative Tribunals. Diana joined Hummingbird Lawyers LLP in 2024.
She has appeared in the Ontario Superior Court of Justice. She has also represented clients before Administrative Tribunals including the Landlord and Tenant Board, the Human Rights Tribunal and the Health Services Appeal and Review Board.
Diana’s practice incorporates a wide array of litigation matters including Commercial and Contract Litigation, Employment Law Litigation, Real Estate Litigation, and Property and Boundary Disputes.
Diana excels in crafting persuasive arguments, conducting thorough research, and negotiating settlements that best serve the clients’ interests. She is adept to managing complex case files and developing clear effective communication with clients. Known for her meticulous attention to detail and problem-solving skills, Diana is dedicated to achieving favourable outcomes through a combination of strategic insight and a strong commitment to justice.
When she is not working, Diana can be found walking her dog Theo, baking up a storm, and travelling the world.

Represented the owners of a residential property in a neighbour dispute regarding property destruction. Successful at a motion applying Rules 25.06(1) and 25.11 resulting in the defence of the corporate defendant and an agent of the corporate defendant being partially struck and amended as well as costs being awarded.
